Teleios Stories: Dusty Elliott

My first experience with Teleios was going on the Montana Fishing trip last summer. I thought it

was cool how raw and authentic we were able to be within such a short period of time, I enjoyed hearing testimonies from other men, and I was surprised how much other people were going through the same thing as me.

Something I personally struggle with is finding peace. That trip was the first time in a long time that I had experienced an overwhelming and powerful amount of peace— and I realized I wasn’t alone in my struggles.

When I got home from that trip, I told Stu I was interested in starting a group because I wanted to continue living what I had experienced on that trip. This group has provided me with authentic friendships, accountability as we read the Bible together, talk about how it impacts us day to day, and challenge each other with questions. Showing up to group every week starts my day off positively, it’s a place to bring the hardships and stresses of work, as well as be encouraged as a father and husband.

I’m grateful for our group and am looking forward to see how it grows through the years.
