Our hope in the coming months is to send out a short reflection, a couple of times a month, from the two of us as well as some of our board members and other Teleios group members. We hope this becomes another way of affirming our connection together in Jesus. It is an experiment to mutually encourage our friendships around the person of Jesus. We would love to hear your thoughts and comments as we go forward. We might even invite you to share a word with the other Teleios men as well.
These words from the book of Hebrews hold the spirit of our hope for these reflections:
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching”. Hebrews 10:24-25.
That is one goal of our group and one-on-one meetings; contemplating scripture, honestly sharing about the ups and downs in each of our lives, and faithful prayer for one another.
Our hope is that, like our meetings together, these short reflections will encourage us toward maturity, toward the love of Christ, and toward serving others.
