Teleios Celebration: September 16-23

Dear Friends,

It has been quite a year for all of us. We hope you are well and are so grateful that things are opening up and that we can meet in person again. Many of the Teleios groups are meeting in person (or with a hybrid gathering of in-person and online). What a gift it is to see so many of you again!

We made the decision this spring to have our Teleios Celebration virtually again, so mark your calendars for Thursday, September 16. The celebration will run for a week (Sept. 16-23) so groups can view it together, maybe gathering with spouses for a fall kickoff, or for individual viewing.

We have so much to be grateful for. It has been affirmed again that we are made for relationships, for direct interaction with others. Many of you have affirmed that your weekly Teleios meeting has been a tremendous gift (even virtually) and the one interpersonal connection you have each week.

A verse that has stood out to us this summer is 1 John 4:18, "There is no fear in love. But perfect (teleios) love (agape) drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect (teleios) in love (agape)." In the love of Jesus, we have absolutely nothing to fear. His love greets us each day and holds us each night, whatever we may face. Be encouraged and captivated today by the great, great love of Christ!

Grateful for each of you,

Art & Shawn
