The Resurrection and The Life

Dear Friends,

I want to wish you a blessed Easter celebration this year! What Jesus said to his dear friend, Martha, before raising Lazarus from the dead, speaks to me: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die, and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11:25-26) These words of hope in the resurrection continue to comfort and to challenge me. Do I believe this? Where is my hope? At the end of the day and at the end of living on this earth, can I find a place of security and hope?

The challenge to me every day is to "push all my chips in" on what Jesus promises, that he is "resurrection and life." It is why Easter is so vital to us as believers.

Because he is risen, we place our hope in him, that we will be raised to even greater life as well!
